Cabaret
About the Show
Book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb
A young American writer, Cliff Bradshaw, and his love, the charismatic singer Sally Bowles, spend their days in Fraulein Schneider’s boarding house — and their nights in the seedy Kit Kat Klub. There the Master of Ceremonies guides them through Berlin’s underbelly in the chaotic final days of the Weimer Republic. Enjoy the music — Willkommen, The Money Song, It Couldn’t Please Me More, Cabaret — that has thrilled audiences worldwide in this Tony Award-winning musical. Based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.
