ANDREW JACKSON
Playwright
Andrew is a senior in political science. He has participated in multiple shows at University Theatre including What We Grew Up With where he performed as Rajiv. He would like to thank his grandmother and friends who continue to encourage and support his passion for theatre. Andrew hopes you all enjoy the show!
EVIE SHACKLES
Director
Evie is a fourth-year student majoring in psychology. She has been involved in two previous UT productions: as an ensemble member in She Kills Monsters and as an assistant stage manager in Mr. Burns. Evie would like to thank her family for all their support, and she hopes y’all enjoy the show!
MATTHEW DUBRULE
Jacob
Matthew is a freshman in exploratory studies. He is making his acting debut at University Theatre. Previous credits include improv at ComedyWorx and theatre class at Green Hope High School. Matthew would like to thank his family and friends who continue to encourage and support his passion for theatre. Matthew hopes you all enjoy the show!
BRAYDEN HEARN
Grandma
Brayden is a rising junior at NC State University in arts studies. It is his first time directing for QuickSCRIPTS, and he has acted in the event once before. He is super excited to share this work with you all!
GUS ALLEN
Mom
Gus is a local actor and writer, as well as an acting instructor at Back-to-One Acting Studio here in Raleigh. Gus has been in many NCSU TheatreFEST productions, most notably The 39 Steps, The Hollow, and Tea with Edie & Fitz. Gus loves board games, skydiving, the Minnesota Vikings and Culver’s restaurants. His two cats are named Rebecca and Louisa after characters from Alfred Hitchcock films. Gus is a massive introvert, so you’ll have to initiate any conversation. Or not. That’s okay too.
HARISH KP
Dad
is a software developer at LexisNexis on Centennial campus of NC State University. Previous show credits include Dwight.K Shrute in 9-5, the adaptation of the sit-com The Office, Friedrich Nietzsche in Exist, a philosophical drama about Nihilism and Existentialism, and have done various mime and street theatre acts. Harish KP was a member of Theatron, Anna university, a college theatre club in India where they produce theatre shows and perform in renowned theatre competitions. He extends his gratitude to family and friends whose ongoing encouragement and support have fueled his passion for theatre. Harish KP eagerly anticipates that you all will thoroughly enjoy the show!
ALLYSON SMITH
Sophia
Allyson is a senior in computer science here at NC State. She has performed in QuickSCRIPTS at University Theatre more times than she can count including a wide range of roles — a 5-year-old girl, an old lady, a grieving sister in the depths of an MLM scheme, a clock, a CIA interrogator, Alexa the voice assistant, and more. Allyson hopes you all enjoy watching QuickSCRIPTS tonight!!
