Lilly is a freshman in genetics. She is making her debut at University Theatre. Previous show credits include Aunt Em in The Wizard of Oz, Madge Larrabee in Sherlock Holmes, and Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music. Lilly would like to thank her incredible family, friends, and previous mentors who continue to encourage and support her passion for theatre. Lilly hopes you all enjoy the show!

Sage is a junior in art studies with a theatre concentration. She is making her debut at University Theatre. Previous show credits include ensemble in Little Women, Beadle in Sweeney Todd, and ensemble in The Little Mermaid. Kat is a senior in communication media and theatre studies. This is their fifth show performing with University Theatre. UT credits: The Spongebob Musical (Sandy Cheeks), The Crucible (Abigail Williams), Urinetown, the Musical (Robby the Stockfish/Ensemble), and Jekyll & Hyde (Red Rat Dancer/Ensemble). Burning Coal Theater Company credits: CATS (Grizabella) and KidsWrite Festival (2023 & 2024). Kat would like to thank their family and friends for all their support.

John Henry is a junior double majoring in film studies and communications. He is making his debut at University Theatre. He would like to thank his family and friends who continue to encourage and support his passion for acting. John Henry hopes you all enjoy the show!

Ryan is a senior in food science with a minor in theatre. Ryan has appeared in seven previous University Theatre productions – A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Snout the Tinker), The SpongeBob Musical (Larry the Lobster/Gary), The Crucible (Giles Corey), Urinetown (Hot Blades Harry), Peter and the Starcatcher (Bill Slank/Mermaid), Jekyll and Hyde (Bishop of Basingstoke), and one TheatreFEST production, Holmes and Watson (Holmes 1). Ryan is very excited to participate in another theater production.

Jack is a senior in psychology. He is making his debut at University Theatre. He would like to thank his family and friends who encouraged him to push himself and try something new. Jack hopes you all enjoy the show!

TANNER MOORE

Tanner is a freshman in animal science. Tanner is very excited to be in his first-ever college show! Some of his favorite past roles include The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (Edmund), The Addams Family (Mal), and Puffs(J.Finch). Tanner would like to thank his friends and family for pushing him to continue to do theatre!

Luke is a freshman in biology. He is making his debut at University Theatre. Previous show credits include Tom Collins in RENT and Sheriff Buncombe in Bandit Ben. Dasha is a senior in international studies. She has performed in multiple shows at University Theatre including Hawking Clam in Peter and the Starcatcher and Mary Somerville in Ada and the Engine. Andrey is a freshman in science education. This is his first production at NC State. He’s excited to get to work with a new theater and join the team for the next few years.

JACEN YABROFF

Ed Thomas

Jacen is a sixth-year student in mechanical engineering with a minor in theatre. This is his fourth show acting with University Theatre, previously participating in Peter and the Starcatcher, as General Glossop in Jekyll and Hyde, and as Casey in A Case of Salt. Jacen has also volunteered backstage in both the scene and costume shops. He is thankful for his family and friends who support his passion, and the backstage teams and crew who make the magic happen. Jacen hopes you all enjoy the show!

MIA SELF

Director

Mia is the assistant director of acting and directing at North Carolina State University. She has a BA in theatre from Catawba College and an MFA in directing from the University of Mississippi. Mia worked as a professional actor, voice and text coach, playwright, and director around the Southeast and Midwest before beginning her career in theatre education in 2004. She is a proud board member of the North Carolina Theatre Conference (NCTC).

DANICA JANELLE JACKSON

Fight Director

Danica, (she/her), is the assistant director of performance at NC State. She serves as a dialect coach and intimacy director for multiple companies in the area. Danica also took the first ever Shakespeare in Performance class to Prague this past July! Extreme gratitude to family, friends, and students for your unwavering support. DANIEL de LEON

Lighting Designer

Daniel is a senior in mechanical engineering. He has participated in multiple shows at University Theatre, most recently as a production electrician for The Great Beyond and The Ghost of Splinter Cove, an assistant lighting designer for Ada and the Engine, and as a pianist playing the Keyboard 3 part in Jekyll and Hyde. Daniel thanks his friends and family for supporting and encouraging his passion for theater, and he thanks the reader for coming to see the show!

ROBYN WARFIELD

Sound Designer

Robyn holds an MFA with scenographic traditions from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in design concentrating in lighting and scenery. Prior to her becoming part of the University Theatre staff, she was the resident lighting designer and master electrician for the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. She was an integral part of the creative team for a new hip hop musical, Grimmz Fairytales, which was nominated for the 87th Drama League Awards in Outstanding Digital Theatre, Individual Production, for its filmed version during the winter of 2020. While at the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, she had the pleasure to design and assist many shows that are new works that promote kindness and the ability to see growth and strength in each and every person including oneself. Not just working in Theatre for Young Audiences, she started out at theatre companies like Shakespeare & Company in Lenox MA, that concentrate on classical and contemporary works. DAVID JENSEN

Technical Director

David has been working at University Theatre since 2002. David attended Appalachian State University and UNC-Greensboro, where he studied theatrical design and production. He worked in Atlanta for seven years as a freelance theatre carpenter and technical director at most of the theaters in the metro area as well as many exhibit/design shops. David would like to remind everyone that the Arts NC State programs are open to any NC State student — Get involved!

THEO STEWART

Stage Manager

Theo is a junior in psychology. He is making his debut at University Theatre. Theo is a choir member in University Singers and plays multiple instruments in NC States bands. He would like to thank his family and friends who continue to encourage and support his passion for theatre. Theo hopes you all enjoy the show!

Brianne is a fourth year in computer engineering. She has worked on multiple shows at University Theatre including stage managing Peter and the Starcatcher and Ada and the Engine, as well as being deck crew for The Ghost of Splinter Cove. Brianne is a member of Alpha Psi Omega where they do service in the theatre community. She would like to thank her family and friends who continue to encourage and support her passion for theatre.
