UT Bio Example
A basic bio includes your name, your role in the show, your classification, your major, a statement of your involvement at UT (i.e. XXXX is making their debut at University Theatre), 2-3 shows you've been involved in to include show title/role, and a final statement of thanks or appreciation.
Additionally, if there are other 'related' items you'd like to include, feel free to include them.
Generally, hometowns, where you attended high school, and other personal information is excluded in UT bios unless it is relevant to your role in the current production. As with a resume, only relevant information should be included.
The examples below are presented as a basic guide to aid you as you craft your own unique bio.

Headshot
The headshot you submit should be one that clearly represents you. One that you feel good about sharing with the world. At minimum, think selfie-like with room above and below the head for editing. Use good lighting. Your face should be facing the light source to prevent shadows, dark eyes. Do not crop the image. That will be done as needed. Mobile phones take very good photos. JPEG or .PNG files are acceptable formats. Have fun capturing you and send us the best shot!
