General Parking

Whether you’re coming to our offices or to a show, parking is easy!

During Regular Business Hours

If you need to come to campus Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., you can park in the hourly pay lot on the lower level of the Coliseum Parking Deck. The lot entrance is on Cates Avenue.

The university utilizes a cashless payment method. Visit the ParkMobile site to pay online or to download the free ParkMobile app.

After 5pm and Weekends

After 5:00 p.m. weekdays and anytime on weekends, you can park for FREE in the Coliseum Parking Deck located next to Thompson Hall, or in the Jeter Drive parking bays adjacent to Reynolds Coliseum located next to Talley Student Union.

Accessible Parking and Patron Drop-Off

All University Theatre facilities offer accessible parking. For Thompson Hall, spaces are located to the left of the building in the parking lot between Thompson and the Honors Commons building. For Stewart Theatre, a limited number of spaces are available in the Jeter Drive parking lot and on Cates Avenue. Visit the NC State parking website for up-to-date parking locations. 

Drop-off locations are available adjacent to all venues. For Thompson Hall, patrons can be dropped off between the theater and the Honors Commons building. For Stewart Theatre, patrons may be dropped off at Talley Student Union’s Technology Tower on Dunn Avenue located next to Reynolds Coliseum. Visit Accessibility Services for additional info.

Stewart Theatre

  • Address: 2610 Cates Ave Raleigh, NC 27695
  • Location:  Cates Avenue, between Price Music Center and Talley Student Union
  • Dock Height:  2’6”H with hydraulic top-of-dock leveler
  • Door Size: 9’9”W x 9’11”H
  • Parking: One truck, bus, or a small number of cars may park within the loading dock area.  Space for additional vehicles can be arranged, in advance, a short distance from the theatre.

Frank Thompson Hall (Titmus & Kennedy-McIlwee Studio Theatre)

  • Address: 2241 Dunn Avenue, Raleigh NC 27695
  • Location: Dunn Ave., between Thompson and the Honors Commons building
  • Dock Height: 1’6″H
  • Door Size: 10’0″W x 10’0”H loading doors, back stage left.
