LUKE ANDERSON

The Grinch | Wickersham

Luke is a fourth year in mechanical engineering and communication. He has previously acted in The CruciblePeter and the Starcatcher, and Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play. He would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him, and the wonderful cast and crew of Seussical for being so great to work with.

RICHARD ARNOLD

Swing

Richard is a sophomore in geology and paleontology. He has performed in two high school shows but will be participating in his first University show as a Swing in Seussical. He would like to thank Mr. Story and the Peanuts for sparking his passion in theatre.

Alex is a junior in psychology with a minor in theatre.

Sarah is a freshman in chemical engineering. She is making their debut at University Theatre. Previous show credits include Margot in Legally Blonde, Ensemble in Little Shop of Horrors, and Ensemble in Annie. Sarah is a member of University Theatre where they do service in the theatre community. She would like to thank their family and friends who continue to encourage and support her passion for theatre. Sarah hopes you all enjoy the show!

BRIANNE BERNHARDT

Mrs. Mayor

Brianna is a sophomore majoring in communication.  This is her third show with University Theatre; her previous roles including Bisset in Jekyll & Hyde, and Ensemble in Ada and the Engine. Outside of University Theatre, Brianna has been in productions with companies such as Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre and Davidson Community Players. Outside of theatre, Brianna plays clarinet for the Power Sound of the South Marching Band at NC State. She would like to thank her family and friends for their endless support, and she hopes you enjoy your time “here on Who, the tiniest planet in the sky!”

KIRA LEE BRITT

Bird Girl

Kira is a junior in communication with a media concentration. Did you hear? She is performing in her fourth show with NC State University Theatre and thrilled to finally return to the Stewart stage! You may know her as Anabella Byron from Ada and the Engine or Maria from the recent fall production of Mr. Burns, A Post Electric Play. Kira has been honored to organize a variety of bonding opportunities to bring this wonderful cast closer together—and she sincerely hopes the strength of that bond shows through with each performance.

Mattie LaBird

Brinley is a senior studying communication media. She has acted in many different capacities at University Theatre, but some of her favorite experiences this far was playing Mrs. Bumbrake in Peter and the Starcatcher, acting as assistant director and swing in Jekyll & Hyde. Brinley is the current social media chair of Alpha Psi Omega. She would like to thank her family and friends who continue to encourage and support her passion for theatre. She hopes you all enjoy the show!

LYDIA BLANTON COCHRANE

Swing

Lydia is a sophomore in communication and film studies. In her time at NC State, Lydia has been in Dystopia and QuickSCRIPTS. This is her first musical at NC State, and she is thrilled and honored to be a part of Seussical. She wants to thank her family and friends for their support as well as the cast and crew for their warm welcome. Go Pack! and enjoy the show!

MADELINE CORE

Sour Kangaroo | Young Kangaroo

Madeline is a junior studying History, with a Legal History concentration and a Theatre minor! She has performed in other UT productions such as ‘Lucy Harris’ in Jeykll and Hyde, ‘Bart Simpson’ in Mr. Burns: a Post-Apocalyptic Play, and ‘Little Sally’ in Urinetown. She has also participated in tech, assistant stage managing She Kills Monsters. She is so excited to be playing ‘Sour Kangaroo’ in tonight’s production! Enjoy the show!

Wickersham

Chas is a junior in statistics with a minor in economics. This is his third show with University Theatre, previously appearing as a swing for She Kills Monsters and as Sir Archibald Proops in Jekyll & Hyde. While off the stage, Chas plays the trumpet with NC State’s Power Sound of the South and sings in University Singers. Chas would like to thank his friends and family for supporting his passion for theatre, and he hopes you all enjoy the show!

KARA CUSHMAN

Bird Girl

Kara is a senior in communications. She could not be more excited to be a part of Seussical! Kara is sad that this will be her last spring musical here at University Theatre. You might’ve seen her as Lady Beaconsfield in Jekyll & Hyde and Pearl in The SpongeBob Musical here at NCSU! She’s a recipient of NCTC’s Excellence in Acting award. She has performed as Larry in A Chorus Line and Ladybug in James and the Giant Peach. Kara wants to thank her friends, family and fellow theater goers for being a big part of her life! Enjoy the show!


OWEN DURSO

The Cat in the Hat

Owen is a freshman in nuclear engineering. This is his first show with University Theatre and has performed previously as Callahan in Legally Blonde and Mike in Freaky Friday. Owen helped create the set and lighting for the fall play, Mr. Burns and continues to work in the light shop for this show. He would like to thank his family and mother for continued encouragement in his pursuit of music. Owen hopes you enjoy this wacky wonderful show.

QUINN FRONING

Whoville Resident | Jungle Citizen

Quinn is a freshman studying livestock and poultry management. She is incredibly excited to be making her University Theatre debut in Seussical. Quinn took theater classes in both middle and high school and is excited to finally be on stage again. She would like to thank her castmates for encouraging her to audition and her friends for dealing with her late-night nerves.

Horton the Elephant

Alexander is a freshman in environmental engineering. This is his first ever performance with University Theatre, and he is beyond excited. He would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to his directors and the rest of his cast for putting together a lovely show.

BRAYDEN S. HEARN

Brayden is a third-year student in arts studies with a theatre concentration. Seussical is his fifth show here at University Theatre. Previous credits include Babbage in Ada and the Engine and Gibson in Mr. Burns, A Post Electric Play. He is also a member of Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honor Society and Five Rivers NC State. Brayden would like to thank everyone who has come to enjoy and promote theatrical art here at NC State.

Coleman is a sophomore in mathematics. He is making his debut at University Theatre. Previous show credits include Hero in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Coleman is a member of McGregor Hall where they do service in the theatre community. He would like to thank his family and friends who continue to encourage and support his passion for theatre. MICAH JONES

Whoville Resident | Jungle Citizen | Judge Yertle the Turtle

Micah is a junior in communication. While this will be his first time performing theater at this college as a recent transfer student, Micah has more than a decade of experience doing theater. He enjoys musical, non-musical, and even Shakespearean acting. Previous roles of his include Plankton in SpongeBob the musical, Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Nikita Starloff in
Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club. Micah is looking forward to doing more theater now that he has moved to Raleigh. Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

LILY HINES KINDSVATTER

Whoville Resident

Lily is a sophomore in business administration with a marketing concentration in the Poole College of Management. In the past, Lily has been in UT shows such as Jekyll & Hyde (swing) and Peter and The Starcatcher (Molly Aster). Performing is one of her greatest passions, and she can’t wait to continue it here at NC State. She would like to thank her family for always being her greatest supporters and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

Brandon is a junior in animal science with a concentration in veterinary bioscience and a minor in theatre. He has participated in multiple shows with University Theatre on and off the stage. He was Ted in Peter and the Starcatcher, assistant choreographer for Jekyll & Hyde, and more. He’s so grateful for this opportunity and hopes you enjoy this fun show.

TYLER NEGLEY

Swing

Tyler is a second-year student in exploratory studies. This is his second show with University Theatre. His previous show at University Theatre was Lucas and Student 1 in What We Grew Up With. He would like to thank his family and friends who continue to support him through everything and allow him to keep chasing his dreams. He hopes that you all enjoy the show!

GRAYSON NICO

Wickersham

Grayson is a graduating senior in statistics with a double minor in cognitive science and theater. Seussical is their fifth show with UT, with the others being A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Puck (Fall 2021), Urinetown as Billy Boy Bill (Spring 2023), Peter & The Starcatcher as Prentiss (Fall 2023), and Jekyll & Hyde as Lord Savage (Spring 2024). It is thanks to the theater that Gray has found their community and made lasting connections, and so it is with a joyous and bittersweet heart that they hope their final show brings a smile to every face in every audience.

PRISCILLA EDITH PALAZZO

Bird Girl

Priscilla is a sophomore in history. This will be her first official show with University Theatre. Her previous show credits include Donkey in Shrek the Musical, Ariel in The Little Mermaid, and Cat in the Hat in Seussical! Priscilla would like to thank her family and friends and most of all her roommates for putting up with her love of singing late at night. Priscilla hopes this show inspires your Thinks like no other!

Constantina is a sophomore in elementary education with a minor in theatre. This is her fourth show at University Theatre! Past UT shows include Peter and the Starcatcher (Ensemble), Ada and the Engine (Ensemble), and Mr. Burns a Post-Electric Play (Quincy). Her other credits include Legally Blonde (Vivienne), and Grease (Jan). She would love to thank her friends and family for supporting her through her theatre career. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Dae is a freshman in communication and journalism. He was a Swing in Mr. Burns, and Seussical is his first opportunity to be on stage at NC State as a Wickersham Brother and Ensemble member! Dae is also a writer and photographer for the Technician. He would like to profusely thank the theater community, as well as his parents and sister, for their unwavering support. Eyman is a sophomore in communication. This is her second production with University Theatre and it’s also her second time being in a production of Seussical. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time with the creative team and would like to thank her director for such a great opportunity. She would also like to thank her mom for her unconditional support. Hailey is a freshman in business administration with a marketing concentration and a minor in art + design. She is making her debut at University Theatre. Previous show credits include Chief of Police in CLUE: High School Edition, and Officer Milner/Ensemble in Heathers: Teen Edition with the North Carolina Theatre Conservatory where she previously trained. She would like to thank her friends and teachers who continue to encourage and support her newfound passion for theatre. Hailey hopes you all enjoy the show!

Andrey is a freshman in science education here at State. This is his second production with UT, with the first being Teletype. He is excited to get back on stage and perform in a musical.

Zoe is a senior in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in theatre. She is delighted to be a part of another show with University Theatre!
