You are invited to read a copy of the script in advance of auditions. University Theatre provides perusal scripts, physical copies in large print binders, for your convenience in the lobby at Frank Thompson Hall. They are available to the left as you enter the main lobby next to the women’s restroom. Scripts are available for in-building use only during regular business hours. No appointment necessary.

General audition information
Auditions will be scheduled in the spring and held in slots of 5-minute increments. A current headshot and résumé is required. You may also be asked to read from one of the scripts. NC State students are encouraged to audition and/or apply for crew positions.
About Holmes and Watson — When a telegram arrives with tales of three men claiming to be the fallen hero, Dr. John Watson must journey to a remote asylum off the coast of Scotland to discover if one of the mad men is the real Sherlock Holmes in this intriguing mystery-thriller. Casting 6 Men, 1 Woman.

What to prepare — A one-minute comedic monologue and up to 32 bars of memorized music. Provide sheet music marked and in the correct key for the accompanist.
