Bio

Danica Jenelle Jackson is an award-winning director and educator with more than 20 years of professional theatre experience in a multitude of environments and positions. Danica holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Memphis, an MSEd from Nova Southeastern University, and a BA in theatre from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. With specializations and interests in acting, dialect coaching, devised theatre, stage movement and community-based theatre, Danica is passionate about honest and respectful inclusion of historically excluded people, including BIPOC artists, persons with cognitive and physical diversities, and the entire LGBTQ community. She also enjoys experimenting with a variety of artistic mediums, and is the co-creator and co-host for the celebrity livestream show, Talkulturewww.danicajenelle.com
