MADALYN ALEXANDER

Emma Carew

Madalyn is a senior double major in psychology and English with a minor in business. She has performed in multiple shows at University Theatre, most recently seen as Soupy Sue in Urinetown the Musical. Madalyn would like to thank her family and friends who continue to encourage and support her passion for theatre. She hopes you all enjoy the show!

ELIJAH BALL

Sir Danvers Carew

Elijah is a freshman in exploratory studies. From Wilmington, NC., Elijah has performed in one University Theater production as a swing in Peter and the Starcatcher. He has performed in numerous other shows with his hometown theater company, Thalian Association: Matthew in Anne of Green Gables, Constable Joe in Tuck Everlasting, Hunter in Crywolf, and many more. Elijah would like to thank his family and friends for the love and support he receives, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

BRIANNA BERNHARDT

Bissett

Brianna is a freshman in psychology with a minor in theatre. She is so excited to make her debut at University Theatre! Previous show credits include Mother Superior in Sister Act and The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods. Prior to getting involved with University Theatre, Brianna has worked with organizations such as Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre, Mooresville High School Performing Arts, and Davidson Community Players. She would like to thank her wonderful friends and family for their continuous support, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

KIRA BRITT

Swing

Kira is a sophomore in communication with a media concentration. This is her first time working with University Theatre and taking on the role of a Swing. She’s incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this stunning performance and would like to shoutout the wonderful community of friends in her life who have helped make NCSU feel like home. Kira hopes you enjoy the show at least half as much as she did while listening to the soundtrack for the first time!

Lola is a senior in English lit with minors in philosophy and theatre. 

BRINLEY CARTER

Swing | Assistant Director

Brinley is a sophomore in communication media with a minor in psychology. Her musical theatre career started at Debbie’s Angels Productions when she was twelve, but her involvement with University Theatre began her freshman year when she ‘swung’ in the shows Urinetown and Muse. Recently however, she made her debut at University Theatre as Mrs. Bumbrake in Peter and the Starcatcher and is now excited to be one of the assistant directors and to be swinging again. She hopes you all enjoy the show!

MADELINE CORE

Lucy Harris

Madeline is a sophomore in history. She has been a part of multiple shows at University Theatre including ‘Little Sally’ in Urinetown the Musical and assistant stage manager in She Kills Monsters. Madeline is so excited to perform as ‘Lucy Harris,’ a dream role for her since high school. She would like to thank her family and friends for their continued love and support throughout her theatrical journey. Madeline is so excited for everyone to see the show!

CHAS CSER

Sir Archibald Proops

Chas is a sophomore in statistics with a minor in economics. This is his second show with University Theatre, previously appearing as a swing for She Kills Monsters. His previous show credits include Monsignor O’Hara in Sister Act. While off the stage, Charles plays the trumpet with NC State’s Power Sound of the South and sings in University Singers. Charles would like to thank his friends and family for supporting his passion for theatre, and he hopes you all enjoy the show! 

KAT CUPP

Red Rat Dancer | Ensemble

Kat is a junior in communication media and theatre studies. This is their fourth show performing with University Theatre. Past UT credits include The Spongebob Musical (Sandy Cheeks), The Crucible (Abigail Williams), and Urinetown the Musical (Robby the Stockfish/Ensemble). Kat also performed in Corpus Christi directed by Dustin Britt this past June and has acted with various local theater companies such as Cary Players and Burning Coal Theatre Company. They hope you enjoy the show!

KARA CUSHMAN

Lady Beaconsfield

Kara is a junior in communication with a media concentration and a minor in vocal music performance. She could not be more excited to be a part of Jekyll & Hyde! Kara has recently performed as Evil Gabbi in She Kills Monsters and Pearl in The SpongeBob Musical here at University Theatre! Kara is a recipient of North Carolina Theatre Conference’s Excellence in Acting award and has performed as Phoebe in A Goose Girl and Ladybug in James and the Giant Peach. She wants to thank her friends, family, and fellow theatergoers for being a big part of her life! Enjoy the show!

CHLOE DEXTER

Nellie

Chloe is a junior in anthropology. They have performed in multiple shows at University Theatre including Tilly in She Kills Monsters, Ensemble in Urinetown the Musical, and Betty in The Crucible. Chloe would like to thank their family and friends who continue to encourage and support their passion for theatre. Chloe hopes you all enjoy the show!

JAKE ENSEY

Simon Stride

Jake is a senior in English with a minor in theatre. This is his fourth mainstage production with University Theatre, his most recent UT credit being Bobby Strong in Urinetown the Musical. He’s super excited to be a part of Jekyll and Hyde and hopes the audience has a killer time!

EMMA RAE FORNES

Red Rat Dancer | Ensemble

Emma Rae Fornes, (@emmaraefornes), is a sophomore in business, film studies and music studies. Her previous credits at UT include Agnes in She Kills Monsters and assistant director of Urinetown the Musical! Emma grew up training at the North Carolina Theatre Conservatory where she studied singing, acting, dance, and performed in numerous Live on Stage productions and Summer Theatre Arts School shows. Emma’s past regional credits at North Carolina Theatre (NCT) include: Les Mis (Young Eponine), Billy Elliot (Keely Gibson), The Little MermaidMarry Poppins, and Gypsy. Emma is also a singer-songwriter; you can check out her music on Instagram (@emmaraemusic). Emma would like to thank Danica, Jess, Michael, her friends and family, and the Park Scholarship community for supporting her throughout this process. Go Pack!

JACKSON GRIFFIN

Utterson

Jackson is a senior in history with a minor in theatre. He is thrilled to be a part of Jekyll & Hyde! His University Theatre credits include Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, French Narrator in The SpongeBob Musical, Officer Lockstock in Urinetown the Musical, Holmes #2 in Holmes and Watson, and most recently Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher. Jackson wants to thank his family, friends, and every teacher along the way for their endless love and support!

BRAYDEN HEARN

Spider

Brayden is a second-year student in art studies. He has performed in a show at University Theatre before as Lord Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher. Brayden is a member of Fiver Rivers NCSU where he does conservation in the local community. He would like to thank his family and friends who continue to encourage and support his passion for theatre. Brayden hopes you all enjoy the show!

LILY KINDSVATTER

Swing

Lily is a freshman in business. In the past, Lily has been in shows such as Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), The Bad Seed (Rhoda Penmark), and Peter and The Starcatcher (Molly Aster). Performing is one of her greatest passions, and she can’t wait to continue it here at NC State. She would like to thank her family for always being her greatest supporters and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

QUINN KINSER

Red Rat Dancer | Ensemble

Quinn is a freshman in environmental science. She is thrilled about making her debut at University Theatre. Previous show credits include Karnak in Ride the Cyclone, The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, and Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby. Quinn would love to thank her friends and family for their rampant support of her passion for theatre and the wonderfully welcoming University Theatre community for this opportunity. She couldn’t have asked for a better cast and crew to work with. Quinn hopes you enjoy the show!

RYAN LIM

Bishop of Basingstroke

Ryan is a junior in food science with a minor in theatre. Ryan has appeared in five University Theatre productions – A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Snout the Tinker), The SpongeBob Musical(Larry the Lobster/Gary), The Crucible (Giles Corey), Urinetown the Musical (Hot Blades Harry), and Peter and the Starcatcher (Bill Slank/Mermaid). He has also appeared in one TheatreFEST production—Holmes andWatson (Holmes 1). Ryan is very excited to participate in another theater production.

Dr. Henry Jekyll | Edward Hyde

Jackson Lods, Dr. Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde, is a senior in chemical engineering with a minor in mathematics. He has been involved in multiple shows with University Theatre, playing Officer Barrel in Urinetown the Musical and Steve in She Kills Monsters. He wants to thank his family for always supporting him and his friends for making his four years at NC State unforgettable. Enjoy the show!

Red Rat Dancer | Ensemble

Gabrielle Noah Morris, Red Rat Dancer/Ensemble, is a third-year majoring in communication with a concentration in public elations with minors in journalism and theatre. She has previously served in roles as a stage manager in [title of show], Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, and assistant director in Peter and the StarcatcherJekyll and Hyde will serve as her 10th production with University Theatre. She is grateful for the support the staff and her friends offer her.

GRAY NICO

Lord Savage

Gray is a third-year in statistics with a double minor in cognitive science and theater. This is their fourth show with University Theatre, after performing as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Billy Boy Bill in Urinetown the Musical, and Prentiss in Peter and the Starcatcher. Gray is also a member of Alpha Psi Omega, where they regularly support the theater through social and fundraising events. They are thrilled to be back as Lord Savage in Jekyll & Hyde and hope you enjoy this incredible show!!!

Sullivan is a freshman in education. He has performed in one other show with University Theater as Captain Robert Falcon Scott in Peter and the Starcatcher. Sullivan would like to thank his family and his cast for welcoming him into college and University Theatre.

DAY STEED

Ensemble

Day is a senior in biochemistry with a minor in biotechnology. Jekyll & Hyde is her first show since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and she could not be happier to return to the stage surrounded by an incredible cast, crew, orchestra, and group of directors. Day hopes to attend medical school in the fall after finishing her two-year presidency with Mu Beta Psi, NCSU’s music service fraternity. She would also like to thank her mom for the portable charger.

ZOE WRIGHT

Ensemble

Zoe is a junior in English with a creative writing concentration and a minor in theatre. Zoe is thrilled to be a part of another show with University Theatre! She has most recently performed as Fighting Prawn in Peter and the Starcatcher and also participated in She Kills MonstersUrinetown the Musical, and The SpongeBob Musical with UT as well as in various shows at Raleigh Little Theatre and Cary Arts Center. She would like to thank her family and all her wonderful friends for their support.

JACEN YABROFF

General Glossop

Jacen is a fifth-year student in mechanical engineering with a minor in theatre. This is his third show with University Theatre, previously participating in Peter and the Starcatcher, and as Casey in A Case of Salt. Jacen has also volunteered backstage in the scene shop. He is thankful for his family and friends who support his passion for theater, and the backstage teams and crew who make the magic happen. Jacen hopes you all enjoy the show!
