EMILY CHIOLA

Playwright

Emily, (she/her), is a Raleigh-based actress and writer. She is thrilled to be a part of Quick Scripts and take on the challenge of performing with only 24-hours to prepare! She has recently been seen in Enemy of the People (Justice Theater Project), The Odd Couple (Forest Moon Theater), and Death by Design (Cary Players); as well as in several radio plays, short films, and staged readings. When not on stage, Emily enjoys traveling with her handsome husband, sipping cocktails and reading Vogue.

CAROLINE HUFF

Director

Caroline is a high school senior who has been acting for 5 years. She is making her debut with University Theatre. Previous show credits include Chris in Rumors, Tillie in the Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds, and Megan in Puffs. Caroline is an alumni of North Carolina Governors School, where she studied devised theatre. She wants to thank her parents, friends, and pug for supporting her as she gets out of her shell with QuickSCRIPTS. Caroline hopes you enjoy the show!

SACHIN RYAN

Theo

Sachin is a fourth-year NC State student studying psychology. He would like to thank his family and friends who continue to encourage and support his passion for theatre and acting and embracing and working towards his dream. Sachin hopes you all enjoy the show!  

TIMIRE LEAK

Becca

Timire is overjoyed to be a part of their first University Theatre production! Born and raised in Raleigh, Timire studies Drama (Experimental Theatre Wing) and Performance Studies at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Previous roles include Bernice in Thornton Wilder’s Seven Deadly Sins, Horton in Seussical the Musical, and Terpsichore in Xanadu. Timire wants to thank everyone who has supported them along their artistic journey, family and friends especially.

JOSH EVANS

Damien

Josh is a sophomore majoring in political science and statistics. He is making his debut at University Theatre. He has never acted in front of people before, but it’s always been a passion of his and he’s excited to finally live out his on-stage dream! He would like to thank his amazing friends for always encouraging and believing in him as he follows his dreams. He hopes y’all enjoy the show and Go Pack Go!

JONATHAN MAXWELL

Marzipan

Jonathan moved to Raleigh in 2018 and started acting the following year thanks to Gus Allen and Daryl Ray Carliles at Back-to-One Acting Studio. He owes them a lot for helping him be where he is today – which is here to perform for all of you! (Well, technically he is at home while this is being written) So if he does a poor job, you know who to blame! When he isn’t acting, he’s working… but, when he isn’t doing that, he is making episodes for his show about science and space! (What the what show).
