Our student technical and house management crew positions support events in Stewart Theatre and Frank Thompson Hall.

Event Operations student positions support a variety of performances and programs in Stewart Theatre and Thompson Hall produced by various campus organizations — including the NC State LIVE performing arts series — ranging from departmental lectures to full-scale touring productions. Whether your schedule dictates you need to work in the evening or during the daytime, build your flexible work plan around the numerous work calls available to choose from.

Technical crew positions

Applicants should have basic knowledge of theatrical lighting, live sound operation or backstage crew operations. Advanced lighting, sound and crew training is available; creating opportunities for advancement in position, pay, and level of responsibility. Student technical supervisors regularly manage all technical aspects of an event.
