University Theatre prioritizes experiential learning and encourages you to participate in productions, both onstage and backstage; volunteer in one of our shops; attend a reading, a production or a workshop in addition to the academic classes we offer.
Take a theatre course
All NC State students, regardless of major, can enroll in theatre courses for credit. We are pleased to offer classes in acting, directing, stagecraft and other general theatre studies.

Theatre minor
The theatre minor is no longer available. Students currently enrolled in the minor, please contact Mia Self for advising about the completion of the minor requirements.
Students interested in taking multiple theatre courses who must have a minor to do so, contact Mia Self to discuss the arts studies minor in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
