By STEVEN DIETZ
Directed by Mia Self

Performed by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing.

The Great Beyond reunites estranged sisters who have lost their father, the Captain, and whose contentious relationship remains unresolved. While the house is being packed away, Monica, Emily, and their partners decide to conduct a seance to contact the Captain. The seance produces the results that they hoped for in familiar and completely unexpected ways. The Great Beyond is a comic drama about loss, hope and finding the power to believe.

The Great Beyond is a companion piece to The Ghost of Splinter Cove and can be enjoyed before or after.

TheatreFEST is funded in part by the City of Raleigh based on recommendations of the Raleigh Arts Commission..
