Reservation Timeline

Reservations for University Theatre venues are accepted up to one year in advance of your scheduled event’s date. Reservation confirmations begin April 1 for the upcoming academic year — August 1 through July 31. Arts NC State, registered campus student organizations, and campus departments have priority use of these venues.

What to expect when renting a venue?

Once you’ve reviewed and determined the facility that best fits your need, a facility request is submitted and reviewed by the appropriate staff to confirm availability. Upon confirmation, an event coordinator is assigned and additional event details are requested. An estimated cost for your rental is calculated and upon mutual agreement, a contract detailing the specifics of the rental is written. Once the signed contract, along with the predetermined deposit, is returned, if your event is ticketed, you will work with the coordinator to set up any ticketing needs. At this stage, the organization is free to begin its marketing efforts. At your event’s conclusion, the actual associated costs are calculated and presented for final payment.

Ticketing

Eventbrite® is the exclusive ticketing system used for rental events in University Theatre venues. All ticketing must be coordinated with the event manager. No tickets may be sold until a rental contract is fully executed. Begin the ticketing process here.

Titmus Theatre

The largest of the two theaters in Thompson Hall. It offers an intimate space suitable for music concerts, jazz, dance, lectures, and many other types of events.
