Producing Series

Student Crewed. Student Performed. Professionally designed.

The Producing Series offers high caliber productions throughout the academic year. Multiple large scale, fully-produced shows focused on building community, the audience experience, and the production expertise of our shops. Presented in the Titmus Theatre (Frank Thompson Hall) and Stewart Theatre (Talley Student Union), the producing series shows showcase the brilliance of our students and staff theatre makers.

Timeless Stories. Transformative Truths.

This season, University Theatre brings classic stories to new life with Metamorphoses, Spring Awakening and Sense and Sensibility. Through ancient myth, modern rock, and classic romance, we’re exploring Arts NC State’s theme of wellness by celebrating the journey of self-discovery, mental health, and emotional growth.

Building Student-Centered Community.

Our mission is to create a welcoming environment that instills a sense of community with our students. We elevate the theatrical experience visually, but also by our focus on students’ experiences, development, well-being, and engagement in impactful experiences.

Our high caliber productions focus on the visual experience of the audience, the sets perfectly in tune with the director’s vision and made possible by our student volunteers in our scene shops.
