Playbill | From the Program Director

Joshua Reaves, University Theatre program director

We are delighted to present to you the final production of the academic year from University Theatre, She Kills Monsters. Qui Nguyen’s spirited play is a thrilling journey of self-discovery, where one finds their true family and self through the game of Dungeons & Dragons.

Our production is the culmination of the passion and dedication of seventy-eight students, representing thirty-two different majors, who came together to bring this play to life. Under the guidance of fifteen professional staff members, the students spent countless hours rehearsing and building to create this world before you. It is a testament to the importance of the arts at NC State that every student involved is a volunteer.

We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support of live theatre and our students. We hope that you will join us at TheatreFEST this summer for two other fantastic productions, Holmes and Watson, and [title of show].

So sit back and immerse yourself in this high-octane dramatic comedy that features homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and a splash of 90s pop culture. May this production inspire the inner geek-warrior within us all.
